THE HARTECH SERVICE MENU & LIFETIME MAINTENANCE PLAN


Cars of different ages and different mileages & uses need different approaches to maintenance to look after them properly. New or low mileage cars may not yet need as many mechanical parts checking whereas cars over 5 years old or over 50,000 miles do. Cars over 20 years old and 100,000 miles will need major checks for mechanical wear and corrosion etc that newer cars will not. Then there are 3 year old cars that have covered 75000 miles and 20 year old cars that have not reached 20000 miles. So, because it is unsuitable to apply the same service check lists for all cars, Hartech provide 2 different servicing systems - "Standard" and "Gold".

The "Standard" system reflects Porsche's own service schedules, whereas the "Gold" system is much more comprehensive and is suited to older cars (or recent purchases where the new owner wants a more thorough check). Although the "Gold" services cost more they include additional vital checks and jobs protecting safety and performance, & helping to prevent serious and expensive premature failures (and still cost less than Main Agent service prices). Also, because the "Gold" Major service includes stripping down many parts to check others - there are discounts built into the cost of replacing, brakes, belts, even clutches etc reducing costs further - ideal for an older car or when a new owner wants the car put right from the outset.

Some models have reached the age where we only will follow the "Gold" system - i.e. the more classic models like the 993, 944, 968,etc. In those grey areas of newer, middle aged and average mileage cars (where the customer's future plans, budgets and expectations play are so important) we leave that choice up to them (although we may decline to "Standard" service cars in such a condition it would not be in the customer's, ours, or the safety of the public's best interests).

We use structured service check-lists to ensure everything is done correctly and recorded. The extra checks needed as cars age, have been integrated into our comprehensive "Gold" service schedules (tailored to suit the model involved using all our experience of it over many years). As a result, Hartech provide the very best servicing available at extremely competitive prices.
